If you have any APBA Watercross Nationals, APBA National Highpoints, or Regional Championship plaques or trophies that were not claimed you have 60 days to claim them. For regional Championship awards contact the promoter that had the last race of the season in that region. Contact Patrick Mell for the Region 6 Regional Championship plates. Please note that the rider is responsible for the shipping and handling of all unclaimed awards. Unclaimed plaques shipped within the U.S. will cost $10 each for shipping and handling from the APBA. Trophies will be based on the actual cost to ship them as well as awards shipped outside the U.S. Duplicate plaques and awards for sponsors can be ordered by contacting by Patrick Mell at (586) 598-2856
09/06/07 - 2007 APBA Rider of The Year - The 2007 APBA Rider of The Year goes to a very talented rider who has a bright future in the sport of Personal Watercraft Racing.  After winning 3 National Championships this past weekend there is no one more deserving then a 16 year old from Lake Anna, Virginia.  Andrew Harris had an incredible weekend winning the Novice Ski Stock, Novice Ski Limited, and the Amateur Ski Stock II Classes.  Andrew Harris exemplifies all the great qualities that qualifies him to be an outstanding choice for the 2007 APBA Rider of The Year and we are proud to select Andrew for this prestigious award.

02/16/07 - 2007 APBA Junior Racing Age Rule - After further review and input from the APBA members the APBA Committee, it was decided that a revised Junior class age will take place for 2007. The rule is similar to the 2006 rule with a slight adjustment. The age that you are January 1, 2007 will determine what class you can run for the 2007 season (example: If you are 12 years old on January 1 you are eligible to run the Junior 10-12 class the entire season). Once a racer turns of age to race in a higher age bracketed class (example: a racer turns 13) the Junior racer may also race in the higher age class and still finish out the lower age bracketed class for the remainder of the season. The APBA race season ends September 2, 2007. The main reason for the change is to allow Junior racers that have earned points and are working on regional and National High Point championships to finish out the season and earn a title or championship.

07/20/07 - Region 7 Date Changes - The final Hot Water Tour date scheduled for August 18-19 in St. Pete Beach, FL has been moved to September 15-16 at the Pier in St. Petersburg. The final round of the Surf and Turf Promotions season will take place on August 11-12 in Orange Beach, Alabama - where overall Surf & Turf awards will be presented. There will be no Surf and Turf race in Panama City this year. This is a good change as their will no longer be three Region 7 events on consecutive weekends.

One lucky person will be the winner of their choice of a 2007 Kawasaki product consisting of a SX-R, a 360 Prairie 4x4 , a 600 2xd Mule or something else that comes in green $2,500 Cash! The drawing will be held on 8:30 PM Saturday July 14th after the Awards Ceremony for the Can-Am Cup. 05/28/07 - Region 5 - Texas Supercourse Cancels Rds 3 & 4 at Lake Belton - TeamSport Racing regrets to announce that Rounds 3 & 4 that were scheduled for Lake Belton have been cancelled. Cancellation is due to not having a park due to high water levels. Lake levels will not permit entry into the park. For those that have been there before, the water is ten feet from the pavilion.  Round 3 and Round 4 Series Final at Lake Bryan July 14,15.  TeamSport has tentatively scheduled a double round during the event weekend for July 14th at Lake Bryan. TeamSport will host Rounds 3 & 4 at Lake Bryan July 14th and 15th, 2007.  Racers will still be allowed to drop their worst round. Final scoring will be comprised of 3 of the 4 rounds instead of 4 of the 5.
