Los Angeles, CA July 1, 2008:
Due to state imposed water restrictions and governor declared drought for the state of California, and the concern of potential protesting and adverse publicity of the OC Fair H2X water show event slated for July 22-26, 2008, this inaugural event has been postponed and moved. With the pool already constructed, and the next ten events already being booked for late 2008 and 2009, any negative publicity of the first event could hinder the success of these future events.

The inaugural H2X event will now take place in late October in St Louis, MO, and also due to the lack of racer participation/ signups, and the overall climate of the PWC racing community, this event will now be primarily a 'Watersports stunt show' highlighting board sports with Wakeboarders, Wakeskaters and Jet Ski Freestyle riders all in a "demonstration" or show format...not a competition. There is a possibility of a few invited racers to participate in a "racing demonstration" at most, and yet to be determined.
