Melbourne, FL March 3, 2008 — BRP leads the industry in supporting grassroots watercraft racing by launching the new Sea-Doo® X-Team Bounty racer support program.
In celebration of the launch of the highest performance oriented watercraft in the history of the industry - the 255 hp, race inspired Sea-Doo RXP-X™ and RXT-X™ – BRP has raised the level of support for top finishers aboard Sea-Doo watercraft in 2008. The 2008 Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty contingency program will offer a special bonus incentive for those aboard the new Sea Doo RXP-X and RXT-X watercraft.

BRP is the only watercraft manufacturer to offer Sea-Doo X-Team support to all racers from novice to pros and in 2008 will offer those competing aboard the new Sea-Doo X models 125% of the listed payouts in specified classes. Available to all Sea-Doo watercraft mounted racers competing in the specified classes, the Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty is an “open sponsorship” by offering extra cash rewards to support their efforts of reaching racing glory.
The Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty celebrates the high performance legacy BRP has built since the creation of the musclecraft segment in 1991 with the Sea Doo XP™ and the thousands of races Sea-Doo watercraft have won ever since.

The Sea-Doo X-Team Bounty program rewards racers who successfully compete aboard Sea-Doo watercraft in designated classes with additional cash. Payouts have been increased for top finishers in the various APBA sanctioned races across North America and for the IJSBA World Finals taking place in Lake Havasu City, AZ in October 2008 where the sports single biggest payout of $10,000 is available to the winner of Pro Runabout.
Complimenting the Bounty program is the Sea-Doo Promoter Support program, assisting those producing the races with addition funds to produce high quality, safe events and to promote the sport with greater reach.

2008 SEA-DOO X-TEAM BOUNTY Eligibility Rules:

READ ALL APPLICABLE RULES BELOW TO QUALIFY

1. To be eligible for the Sea-Doo Bounty contingency, racer must compete on an IJSBA / APBA eligible Sea-Doo watercraft in the specified class(es) described in the rules and contingency tables within the United States . Race events offering the Sea-Doo Bounty are all those in North America sanctioned by either the IJSBA or the APBA.

2. Contingency prizes will be paid to racers competing in the designated 1200/1600 cc runabout classes aboard Sea-Doo watercraft.

3. Contingency prizes will be paid for overall closed-course racing only. Slalom does not apply. In IJSBA World Finals contingency, only Overall Titles will be paid (which in some cases may include slalom).

4. Racer must list Sea-Doo as the brand of watercraft raced and “SEA-DOO X TEAM” as a sponsor on entry.

5. The SEA-DOO BOUNTY logo decal must be clearly visible and legible on the watercraft forward of the handlebars. Sea-Doo logo decals must be clearly visible on both sides of the watercraft - minimum of two (2”) inch tall lettering. Sea-Doo Bounty logo decal supplied by promoter.

6. Racer is eligible for as many contingency payments as earned during an event. Racer MUST compete against a MINIMUM OF FIVE (5) finalists in the class to qualify for contingency.

7. To qualify for contingency payment, BRP MUST receive a completed Sea-Doo Bounty Contingency Redemption Form from eligible racer within (10) ten days of race event.

8. Racers will receive one single compiled contingency payment for designated race events taking place between March 15, 2008 – June 15, 2008, and another single compiled contingency payment for designated race events taking place between June 16, 2008 – September 4, 2008. Racers will receive one single payment for contingencies earned at the IJSBA World Finals in October, 2008.

9. Contingency payments will be issued to racers from BRP only after the IJSBA /APBA and BRP have verified official results.
